Their Story: Hitman Bravo
A/N: This story revolves around Ace from Suikoden III and takes place just before the Highland invasion of Muse in Suikoden II. In the third game, Ace mentions briefly that he served with Gilbert’s mercenaries, so this is my take on his time in the Dundan Unification War. Hitman Bravo refers to the pen name used by Ace in his little adventure novellas published in the Budehuc newspaper. Please enjoy and comment if you have the time, thanks!
There were three things, Ace knew, that confirmed with absolute certainty the existence of evil in the world. The first was red headed ex-girlfriends — obvious enough to any young man who fell

My Lord,
As you are aware, the OAI has been tasked with identifying areas of rebellion and sedition throughout the Empire. While we appreciate your continued service as the last-line defense of our great heartland, we believe that you have been lax in your duties to control certain criminal elements within your domain. By His Majesty’s decree, we must all do our part to stymie the corruption that threatens the society we have fought so hard to create.

Chris Lightfellow sipped the last of the tea before setting it down on her saucer. It was a regular day at Budehuc Castle. The silver maiden and the rest of her Zexen knight comrades were having a meal at Mamie's restaurant. The young cook had not let them down with her fine hamburgers. The woman knight looked down at her clean plate, she looked over at Borus' which was filled with crumbs, and so was his face.
"Even when having a casual meal you still look just as lovely lady Chris."
Chris' face became the color of tomatoes. While she was complimented by men all the time she had not yet adapted to that treatment. Expecting the comme
Freyjadour watched in horror. He held a bloody sword, the red liquid running onto his hands. On the ground was a man, a man he had just killed. With his dying breath, the man asked.
"Why?"
The Prince of Falena bolted waked. He was in the Barrow's mansion. He checked his hands. They were empty and clean, but he could still see the blood, feel the sword. Hear the question.
Frey placed his head in his hands. Earlier that day, the Prince had taken his first life. The life of another human.
It had been necessary. If the Godwin forces had won, he and his friends would have been killed, and Lymsleia would be their puppet forever. He u
Oh, stop teasing me."
Tengaar frowned at Hix who could just blink, irritated. I am not teasing you."
Not at all convinced she looked back in the mirror, changed her posture and tilted her head. She kept frowning, while Hix smiled gently.
Believe me," he said you look great."
She pouted what just made her look cuter. Although it wasn't fitting for her anymore. Women in her state weren't supposed to be cute.
His own look focused on her clearly swollen belly which told anyone why she was so insecure at the moment.
You will be a great mother, Tengaar."

Why you should go to a Rune Master
Children are taught 'You are too young to wield a Rune,' 'Don't ever try to apply one for yourself,' and similar things; and most heed it, questions unasked. A few will ask why, why not, and so forth, but they also yield eventually, to the wisdom of their elders.
There are inherent risks to having a rune embedded into the astral planar space that corresponds to your body, and they are why only Rune Masters are supposed to do it. However, sometimes, desperation begets the impossible, the unsafe, and the unheard of.

S3 Edge's omake -incomplete-
It is dusk...the sun had already set hours before yet its presence could still be felt on this warm autumn evening. The full moon can be seen in the east but it's light blue rays are shrouded in many patches of clouds. A small forest can be seen towards the south.
A figure comes in view. It wears a long robe that covers it from head to toe. One can only see the shadowy silhouette of its face. It walks out of the forest, once filled with fully blossomed and blooming trees but have now become bare because of the impeding approach of colder days.
The figure stops momentarily under a lone tree, not as close to the other trees of the forest yet

1. CONFUSION
Hisagi thought he would wake up n the school backyard. However, the school hard, stone wall couldn't be this comfortable, right? And it was so comfortably warm. Could it be this warm outside in fall?
Hisagi opened his eyes and scoped around. He was lying in a room, in a bed. The room was dark but for dim bluish light. Could he still be dreaming?
" Where am I?"
Hisagi thought he was only talking to himself. However, he was not alone in the room. Beside his bed was a woman emitting eerie atmosphere. She wore weird bluish robe and long veil. Her hair was black silken threads flowing to her feet. Her features were mesmerizin

"Watch Out!!!"
She pushed me towards the side, away from her direction. It had caught me by surprise but at the same time...I should of expected it...It was totally expected...but...
I reach out my hand to her...to try and help her. It was slow though...everything was in slow motion...everything except it...except...the arrow...I missed it just by a bit...just a little faster...if I was given an extra second.....if...only that extra second......
The last Goodbye
'I watched you grow up now you watch me die Where is the justice in that?'
He closed his eyes that didn't see anymore and gritted his teeth as he felt the man-eating spores burn in his lungs with every breath he drew.
He could hear Viktor banging against the metal door and roaring like a wounded animal. He listened closer and there they were: faint, desperate sobs, barely audible.
He would have sighed if it didn't hurt so much. His poor Young Master He pitied him. But he was also happy that he had rescued the McDohl heir.
"Young Master ?" he managed to bring out. The sobs didn't stop. W
