Suikoden 20th anniversary fanbook

(but first, friendly reminder that Suikoden I & II are available on PSN already! Even in Europe!)

Ok so, I (CarmenMCS) am making a Suikoden fanbook for the 20th anniversary of the series. Some of you already heard, and I am still organizing stuff, but for now I want to know who would like to particiapte?

I need to ponder if it’s a better idea making an artbook (just illustrations) or maybe an anthology of comics, or maybe a mix of some fanfiction, some comics and some illustrations? It depend both on what we artists feel like making (and have the time to make, since many of us are adults and adulting is hard) and what others fans who won’t participate but would like to buy the resulting book prefer.

The price will honestly be as low as we can make it, so don’t worry too much about it. The usual books at my stand are around 3-5 euros for around 200 pages, full color are maybe 6 euros. That said, I’ll be the one to put the money into the printing and I won’t be making all that much money out of it, probably not even enough to pay my table at the cons… so the artists won’t get any money, but I am thinking of some ways to reward you guys… probably giving you a copy of the book for free (you would have to pay the shipping) and some of my merchan.

I myself think that making a colour illustration book is the best option? Maybe with a little comic inside too, if someone is up to it. I want to make all these Suikoden comics but in the end I never have time etc., but making a couple of illustrations is much more “affordable” for most of us. But honestly, if enough people are like “yeah let’s make some doujins” I’ll totally jump into it with you XD

The book should be ready somewhere around September. So, any thoughts?
